CAREFUL PRODUCTION

To efficiently reduce waste and be good to the environment, we primarily focus on linen, to effectively reduce waste as it has a high longevity and minimizes the negative effects on the environment. Additionally, we purchase materials from local vendors that sells excess fabrics both fresh and deadstock. We make sure to avoid incorporating any synthetic fabrics in our products. To assure that there is no shrinkage and color change, all our fabrics are pre-washed, and the samples are tested.

WOMEN EMPOWERMENT

Our production process is handled specially by local women, who are experts in the garment industry, from the cutting to the final quality check each step is done by these females. Our production is done on a modest scale by 1 to 5 females with 5 production units, building their own working conditions to guarantee a healthy work-life balance.

They decide how much time should be spent on each design. Based on each pattern, these artisans independently determine the production costs to account for their time and energy.

CARING FOR THE COMMUNITY

We have partnered up with Ekwayamu e.V. to give back to our local community. Ekwayamu is a charity association registered in Switzerland, built with the purpose to help Sri Lanka sustain its innovations and help the future generations. We will be donating $1 from each item sold, primarily concentrated on assisting women and children who are less fortunate, and we carefully choose individuals and issues we care about to support collectively with groceries, medicines, clothes and other necessities.
